In terms of specifications, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and features a 5.99-inch Fullview IPS Full HD+ (1080 × 2160 pixels) LCD with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone remains powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. In addition, 64GB of internal storage is expandable via a microSD card.

BlackBerry Evolve features a dual rear camera with two 13MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture, Mono RGB+ mode, and dual-tone LED flash. Also included are refocus way, 4X autofocus, and slow motion video camera. The front camera features a 16MP fixed focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

The phone features a 4,000mAh battery plus a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a claimed unlock time of 0.3 seconds. The device also features facial unlock capabilities with a claimed unlock time of 0.4 seconds. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, FM radio, USB Type-C with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

One of the model’s highlights includes the BlackBerry Password Keeper app that allows users to protect passwords in a safe and also helps create new strong passwords.

Amazon Fire Mobile (AT&T) and BlackBerry Z10 have the same RAM. None of them have a front flash.
